Groups

Manage your members' permissions & restriction with Marsha.

The group system gives a way to differentiate both visually and mechanically the different hierarchies installed on your server. Groups are the very basis of Marsha and its various features. They define the powers you want to grant to your different poles, or even to your community!

Create & Configure a Group

To create a new group, click on Create a group. A menu will open with different settings to customize it.

After creating it, you can now click on it to start the configuration process. You will see three main categories to manage your group:

  • Roles, allowing you to add & remove the roles (the ones on your Discord server) affected by this group.
  • Permissions, allowing you to add & remove part of the dashboard this group can access.
  • Commands, allowing you to add & remove bot commands this group can access. More info here: Moderate with Marsha

If you want to turn on or off all listed parameters, you can simply click Select All. If all listed parameters are already turned on, you can also De-select All.

About the "All" group

The “All” group is a default group, it acts like the @everyone role on your Discord server. You can delete it but we strongly suggest you to keep it for an easier server configuration.

About Marsha's support access

You can grant your moderators access to Marsha's community section in the support server by enabling the "Support" feature at the bottom. This can bse useful if they need any form of help or support with Marsha.
